A QUASAR is thought to be an extremely distant, small, unusually bright center of a galaxy powered by a huge black hole. Studying quasars allows us to learn about how black holes work as well as the structure of the early Universe. Through this project you will, choose a quasar, request new telescope images of your quasar, create a plot of the quasar's light output, and submit your findings for review by an astronomer.
