The deadline to submit a proposal to present at IETC 2013 is just three weeks away!  Feel free to share this notice with your colleagues!


Dear Educator,

The 20th Annual Illinois Education & Technology Conference (IETC) is accepting proposals to present at IETC 2013 on the conference website through May 6.

What is IETC?  The Illinois Education & Technology Conference offers an opportunity to gain information and exchange ideas on the applications of educational technologies in our classrooms.

Dates of IETC:  The IETC general conference days will be Thursday, Nov. 14 and Friday, Nov. 15, 2013.  Proposals are being accepted for those general conference days.  In addition, we will be offering five pre-conference, full-day workshops on Wednesday, Nov. 13.  These full-day workshops have already been selected.  Check the website for pre-conference workshop details later this spring!

Location of IETC:  Crowne Plaza Hotel, 3000 S. Dirksen Pkwy., Springfield, IL

Presentation Types:  Applications are being accepted for poster sessions (table top displays), 50-minute presentations, and 1-hour 50-minute sessions either presented as demonstrations or in interactive, BYOL/D (bring your own laptop/device) environments.

Deadline to Submit a Proposal:  Three weeks from today -- Monday, May 6, 2013!

Presenter Benefits:  Conference registration fees for both the Thursday, Nov. 14 and Friday, Nov. 15 conference days will be waived for the lead presenter and one co-presenter, if applicable.  Registration for IETC 2013 will open in mid-May.
