Dr. Marty McCarthy, iCollaboratory and several others organizations are applying for a grant that will become a project focusing on "Smart Health." The project focus is 10-18 year olds learning about skin cancer and prevention.
Dr. Marty McCarthy, iCollaboratory and several others organizations are applying for a grant that will become a project focusing on "Smart Health." The project focus is 10-18 year olds learning about skin cancer and prevention.
We need devoted middle school classes in Northern Illinois to be part of the in-person study for this project. Idealy we would like to include Science, Writing, Physical Education, Health Ed and/or Technology. If the project ran in 4-6 week segments, that would probably be ideal.
We are still working out the curriculum and would like input from the middle schools as well as a school and district level commitment to participate in the coming school year.
